Re Funk Explosion is the third Gimme! Gimme! release featuring amazing edits by the Italian DJ Belabouche. His work received critical acclaim on soundcloud and this selection presents pure dancefloor disco dynamite!
Side A starts with "one of the best edits of JB" - to quote a soundcloud member - and is followed by the funky monster "Dance and Chant" by Sam Jam. Next is Belabouche's version of the underground gem "The Rock Is Gonna Get You" by Gordon' War from 1979.
The flipside continues with 2 finely executed edits of Al Hudson & The Partners and Paul Lewis' "Girl, You Need A Change of Mind". Last but not least an awesome edit of Bebel Gilberto's "Aganju". For your listening pleasure all tracks are professional remastered. Enjoy the sound explosion!!
